guidelines
Before using the Kahlenberg archery course, the following rules must be observed:
- Only shooters with a day pass/annual pass are allowed to use the facility. These must be carried on the course and shown on request.
- Each shooter is obliged to enter the course in the course book before starting the course.
- The use of a crossbow is NOT permitted!
- Sniffing is only possible under professional guidance, as well as prior registration by telephone.
- When visiting for the first time, the shooting range may only be used after instruction.
- Children and young people under the age of 18 may only use the shooting range and the course when accompanied by an adult or a trainer. Parents are responsible for their children.
- Persons using the site without authorization or who are not registered must expect to be charged an increased daily fee of €50 and reported.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the forest. (fire hazard)
- Shooting is prohibited for persons under the influence of alcohol.
- Sturdy shoes are required to use the course.
- Each shooter is responsible for his own shot. That means every shooter has to make sure before the shot that the line of fire and the danger area behind it are clear and that neither people nor animals are endangered. The HOCH4 Erlebniswelt Leopoldsberg Betriebs GmbH. shall not be liable for any personal injury or property damage caused by the shooter.
- All persons must stand behind the shooter when shooting.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash!
- The course may only be walked in the specified direction.
- When dusk falls, heavy fog, stormy winds or other extreme weather events, shooting must be stopped immediately and the course must be left.

- Only the designated 3D targets may be shot at.
- In the event of an arrow search, a person must stop in front of the target in question or the search must be indicated by leaning the bow in front of the disc or the 3D animal.
- Unconventional changing of the targets or shooting pegs is not permitted and is a punishable offence.
- No broadheads or hunting blades may be used. The use of hunting blades and broadheads is prohibited by the authorities.
- Entering the site is at your own risk.
- The property owner and the HOCH4 Erlebniswelt Leopoldsberg Betriebs GmbH. assume no liability for any personal injury or damage to property.
- In the event of damage caused by force majeure, the landowner or HOCH4 Erlebniswelt Leopoldsberg Betriebs GmbH will not be held liable. accepted.
- Failure to comply with the training rules will result in the immediate withdrawal of the shooting license.
- We ask you not to leave any rubbish behind, because this is the only way our sport can find more friends and interested parties and thus ensure the continued existence of the facility.
- Uncertainty factors or risks that occur must be reported to us immediately! We ask you to draw our attention to other special events.
